初日からの二日間の在廊日には、多くの方々にお越しいただき、お話しに花咲く日々でした。お越しいただきました皆さま、誠にありがとうございました。
今尾さんの絵画作品と小路口さんのガラス作品が寄り添い、とても心地よいギャラリーとなっております。みなさまもぜひお越しくださいませ♪
とはいえ、本日は京都マラソン。
Sophoraの傍も皆さまが走られますので、夕方まで陸の孤島と化します。それでも！と言った皆さま、ぜひお二人の饗宴を楽しみにいらしてくださいね。

日本画の岩絵の具を用い、移ろい続ける宇宙や時の流れ、気配を心象風景として描く今尾栄仁さん。岩や泥を基にした絵の具が生む粒子の集散と解放は、自然の営みそのものを映し出しているようです。ブロウやカットなどのガラス技法を用い、やさしく心地よい表情を宿したオブジェや器を制作する小路口力恵さん。
おふたりの作品が隣り合うとき、素材や表現の異なる世界が呼応し、立ち上がる新たな景色をぜひお愉しみください。
Eiji Imao creates evocative inner landscapes using traditional mineral pigments of Japanese painting, expressing the ever-shifting universe, the flow of time, and subtle presences. The gathering and dispersing of particles born from pigments made of rock and earth seem to mirror the rhythms of nature itself.
Rikie Shojiguchi works with glass through techniques such as blowing and cutting, creating objects and vessels that carry gentle, comforting expressions.
When their works are shown side by side, two distinct worlds—shaped by different materials and approaches—quietly resonate with one another, giving rise to new and unexpected scenes. We warmly invite you to experience this dialogue between painting and glass.
