その薄く上品な様子に驚かれる方も多い、五月女さんの板皿。
片面は釉薬がかかり、乾いた大地に潤いをもたらした時のように少しばかり光る。
もう片面の無釉の仕上がりの質感は、まるで真っ白な干潮時の塩湖のよう。
表裏がないので、お干菓子、主菓子などの種類に応じて盛り付けをお愉しみ頂けますように。

渇きを帯びながらしっとりとなめらかな肌合いは、豊かな時を経て姿を変えた遺跡のよう。
細かな貫入に刻まれた月日を想い、その姿を愉しむひと時。
本展には壺型の器、小さな花入れ、板皿のほかに、土をキャンバスにした墨象画もお届けいただきます。
京都での初個展を是非お愉しみください。
. The texture of Hiroshi SAOTOME's artwork is smooth and moist although it's dry. It's also looks like ruins of antiquity which has been weathered over many years. Upon seeing such his work which has a beautiful crazing pattern, our thoughts go to ancient times. We will have pots, small flower vases, plates at this exhibition. Addition to all of these items we also have ink paintings painted on clay plate. Please enjoy his first solo exhibition in Kyoto.
